What is efMSX?
In short efMSX is the abriviation for enhanced fMSX, where fMSX stands for (Marat) Fayzullin MSX emulator.
efMSX isn't a new emulator. It is just the name I gave to the orginal fMSX emulator with all the enhancemenst applied to it that I found, and some of which I wrote myself.
The current efMSX contains:
- the original fMSX emulator version 2.1
- The enhanced X-drivers from Arnold Metselaar
- The enhanced VDP Command Engine of Alex Wulms
- My own adaptations to the keyboardhandling,
a rewrite of the I/O handling
and a small correction to Z80.c
